If anything, they're throwing the Google logo all over the place. However, I'm equally surprised that CNN, Fox News, and the other media companies listed here haven't done anything, either. It doesn't appear that this story was EVER "seen on" any of these channels, so they're being falsely affiliated... which of course tarnishes their integrity in the eyes of the general public. So while it's obvious this is a scam, I'd love to know why it's been left alone for so long. Generally companies aren't shy about suing over misrepresentation.
